Restaurant search during setup

When you search for a restaurant during owner setup, we send your search text and a temporary search-session identifier to Google Maps to find matching businesses. Your account password, sales estimates, and owner contact details are not sent with this search. You can review and correct the suggested business details before continuing, or enter them manually. Google handles search data under its Privacy Policy.

What we collect

When you order from a restaurant on FooDDeals we collect what the order needs: your name, your phone number if you choose to give one, a delivery address for delivery orders, and the contents of your order. If you create an account, we also keep your order history and any loyalty points you earn. When you call a restaurant’s phone line answered by our assistant, the call is transcribed so your order is taken accurately, and we keep that transcript with the order.

How we use it

To run your order: confirming it, preparing it, delivering it, and texting you status updates about it if you provided a phone number. Restaurants you order from can see your name, number, and order history with them — that relationship is theirs, not ours to resell. Marketing texts or emails are sent only if you separately opted in, and stop the moment you say so.

Measuring the ads we run for restaurants

Restaurants advertise on Facebook and Instagram through FooDDeals, and on Google. If you order after clicking one of those ads, we tell Meta or Google that the click led to an order and what the order was worth, so the restaurant stops paying to show ads to people who would never order. We do not tell either of them what you ate.

To connect the two, we send a scrambled (hashed) form of your email address or phone number rather than the value itself. Being hashed is not the same as being anonymous: Meta and Google can match it against an account they already hold, which is the entire point of sending it. We would rather say that plainly than call it anonymous.

With Google there is usually nothing to send at all. Most orders are matched by the click itself — an identifier Google put on the link when you tapped the ad, which says nothing about you that Google did not already know. A hashed phone number is only used to recover an order that identifier could not match, such as when you tap an ad on your phone and finish ordering on a laptop.

This is measurement, not list-sharing. We are not handing your details to Meta, to Google, or to anyone else so that they can advertise to you on their own behalf — that is covered below and we do not do it. Email restaurantteam@aidigifront.com and we will stop including your orders in this measurement.

What we never do

Phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Text messages

Order updates are sent to the number you give at checkout, about that order only. Offers and loyalty messages require your separate opt-in and are never a condition of ordering. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of all texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. The full program terms are at /sms-terms.

Restaurant integrations

When a restaurant connects a service such as Clover, Google, Facebook or Instagram, FooDDeals stores the authorization credentials and the business information needed for the features it enables. Depending on the connection, this includes menus, orders, customer records, business listings, Page and Instagram account identifiers, campaign settings, published content identifiers and advertising results. We use that information to provide the restaurant’s connected features, not to sell it or build unrelated personal profiles. Importing a customer from a point-of-sale system does not grant permission to send that customer marketing messages.

When enabled AI campaign or reporting features are used, campaign information, advertising creative context and aggregate ad-performance data may be processed through Vercel AI Gateway by the applicable AI providers, including Anthropic and OpenAI.

Restaurant owners can disconnect services from Connections in FooDDeals and revoke access in the connected provider’s settings. Disconnecting stops future access through that connection; it does not itself remove content already published to the provider or all records already stored in FooDDeals. Use the deletion process below to request removal of associated integration data.

Your choices and data deletion

You can opt out of texts by replying STOP, change marketing preferences from your account, or request deletion of your FooDDeals account and associated personal data by emailing restaurantteam@aidigifront.com from the email address connected to your account. Include the restaurant you used and the phone number or email on the account so we can verify and locate it. We will confirm the request, verify ownership when needed, and delete or de-identify data that is not required for fraud prevention, financial records, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Consent and suppression records may be kept where required to prove consent and honor opt-outs.

For Facebook or Instagram data, include your restaurant and the connected Page or Instagram username, and say whether you want to remove the integration data or your entire FooDDeals account. Never email passwords, access tokens or payment-card details. You can also remove the connected app in Facebook’s Business integrations settings; contact us to delete data FooDDeals already received.
